What is KaraokePlay

KaraokePlay is a website offering free karaoke. Our visitors can record their own version of popular songs and rate other recordings. All you need is a microphone (and some music talent). This service is free, we offer a lot of options and features to help you becoming the next (online) superstar!

Is this free?

The service we provide is free. You do not have to pay for anything.

How do I start?

First you need to sign up. Signing up is free and very fast. We do not send any activation emails.
Once you're registered a wizard will popup which will allow you to set up your microphone correctly.
After that, you can record your own karaoke songs, comment/rate other recordings and add friends.

What are the requirements to sing?

You need a sound card and a pair of music boxes to hear the music.
To record a song, you need a microphone connected to your computer.
The microphone must be installed and working on your operating system (Windows/Mac OS X/Linux).
You also need flash player installed. If you do not have flash installed, please install it for free by going to Adobe's website.
